Kirk Triplett was born on March 29th, 1962 in Washington, USA. He attended the University of Nevada and he turned pro in 1985. He started his career playing in Asia and Australasia and earnt his place on the PGA Tour through Qualifying School in 1989.
In his 266th tour start he finally made his breakthrough winning the 2000 Nissan Open. The following season he finished in the Top 10 of three of the four majors. In 2003 he won again shooting a final round 63 to claim the Renoe Tahoe Open. |
