DJ Trahan was born on December 18th, 1980 in Atlanta, USA. He attended the University of Clemson and played on the golf team. He represented United States in the 2001 Walker Cup and 2002 Eisenhower Trophy. The following season he turned pro.
Trahan spent the 2004 season on the Nationwide Tour finished 26th on the money list. He then earnt his place on the PGA tour by finishing 11th at Q-School. In his rookie season he finished 103rd on the money list. Then in 2006 he made his breakthrough winning the Southern Farm Bureau Classic. |
