Taichi Teshima was born on October 16th, 1968 in Fukuoka, Japan. He turned pro in 1994 and played all of his golf on the Japanese Tour. Teshima has been one of the most consistent performers on the Japanese Tour over the past 10 years and has won four tournaments.

Teshima has yet to play any golf on the world stage and has continued to play all of his golf in his native Japan. His success in his home country has seen him rise into the top 150 of the world rankings. If he continues to play well he may feature in future major championships.
