Hideto Tanihara was born on November 16th, 1978 in Hiroshima, Japan. He plays his golf on the Japanese Tour and has been a member since 2002. Between 2003 and 2006 he won four events in Japan improving his position in the World Rankings. In 2006 he finished T5 in the Open Championship.
Tanihara is one of the most promising golfers in Japan winning multiple tournaments. His improved performances have earnt him a place in some of the major championships. He played superbly at the 2006 Open Championship and also made the cut in the 2006 US PGA Championship. |
