Toru Taniguchi was born on February 10th, 1968 in Nara, Japan. He turned professional in 1992 and has played on the Japanese Tour since. Taniguchi is one of the most successful players in Japan winning a whole host of tournaments.
His results have seen him rise into the top 200 in the world rankings. Taniguchi won the money list on the Japanese Tour in 2002. His best finish on the world stage came in 2001 when he reached the semi-final of the WGC-Accenture Matchplay. |
