Scott Strange was born on April 7th, 1977 in Perth, Australia. He turned pro in 2001 and has been a member of the Asian Tour since 2003. Strange took several seasons to establish himself on the Asian Tour. But in recent years he has become one the leading players with two victories.

His first win in Asia came in the 2005 Myanmar Open when he held off defending champion Thongchai Jaidee. Then the following season he won the Philippine Open by an impressive five shots. You can expect Strange to feature in many of the European Tour events held in Asia.
