Graeme Storm was born on March 13th, 1978 in Hartlepool, England. He played in the 1999 Walker Cup team and won the Amateur Championship the same year. Storm turned pro in 2000 and earnt his place on the European Tour through the Qualifying School . He struggled on his first season on tour.
After several failed attempts at Q-School he won his place back on tour by finishing 3rd on the Challenge Tour in 2004. He made a quick start to the 2005 season, finishing in the Top 10 on two occasions. Consistent performances throughout the year resulted in a 31st place finish on the order of merit.
