Brandt Snedeker was born on December 8th, 1980 in Tennessee, USA. He turned pro in 2004 and spent three seasons on the Nationwide Tour. In his rookie season he made little impact ending the year 45th place on the money list. Then in 2005 his results were average and he again finished 45th.

Snedeker won his PGA Tour card by winning two events on the Nationwide Tour in 2006. He made a big impact in his first season. After some excellent performances he landed his first tournament win, the Wyndham Championship. A superb final round of 63 gave him a 2 shot victory.
