Jeff Sluman was born on September 11th, 1957 in Rochester, New York. He attended Florida State University and turned pro in 1980. He has been a consistent performer on the PGA Tour earning over $16 million. He has won 6 tournaments on the PGA Tour.

Sluman's biggest victory came in 1988 when he shot a final round 65 to win the US PGA Championship. His best season on tour was in 2002 when he earnt over a million dollars and finished fifteenth on the money list. He has showed good form in recent years with Butch Harmon as his coach.
