Michael Sim was born on October 23rd, 1984 in Aberdeen, Scotland. He now represents Australia. He had an excellent amateur career. He was ranked the No.1 amateur player in the world in 2005 winning four titles. Later that year he decided it was time to turn pro.
Michael Sim decided to try his luck in America and was a rookie on the 2006 Nationwide Tour. In his first event he lost in a playoff. He made up for this disappointment by winning the PalmettoPride Classic. This win was enough to help him finish 19th on the money list and earn his place on the PGA Tour. |
