Paul Sheehan was born on January 26th, 1977 in Australia. He turned pro in 2001 and has spent most of his career playing on the Japanese Tour. In 2006 he won the Jacob's Creek Open Championship on the Nationwide Tour. This encouraged him to play more tournaments on this tour.
He added a 2nd place finish to his win which saw him rise into the Top 10 if the Nationwide tour rankings. This has given Sheehan a very good opportunity to earn his card for the PGA Tour in 2007. In eleven starts on the Tour in 2007 he made just one cut. |
