Pat Perez was born on March 1st, 1976 in Arizona, USA. He was an excellent junior golfer and beat Tiger Woods by 8 shots to win the 1993 Junior World Title. He turned pro in 1997 and has become well known for his bad temper. He once snapped a club over his knee after blowing the lead at Pebble Beach.
Perez played on the Nationwide Tour in 2000 winning once. He earnt his place on the PGA Tour by finishing 1st at the 2001 Q-School. He had a good rookie season in 2002 finished as runner up on two occasions and making the Tour Championship. |
