Jesper Parnevik was born on March 7th, 1965 in Stockholm, Sweden. He is the son of famous Swedish entertainer Bo Parnevik. He turned pro in 1986 and became well known for his outrageous dress sense which included wearing an upturned cap.

Parnevik started his career on the European Tour and has notched up four tournament victories in Europe. He then moved to the PGA Tour in the mid nineties where he has won an impressive five titles. He has twice finished as runner up in the Open Championship and has played in three Ryder Cups.
