Gary Orr was born on May 11th, 1967 in Helensburgh, Scotland. He turned pro in 1988 and earnt his European Tour card in 1993 via the Q-School. Orr was named rookie of the year in 1993. His best season came in 2000 when he won twice and finished 10th on the Order of Merit.
Gary Orr then lost his European Tour card in 2004. He quickly regained it the following season after three top tens in his first four tournaments. He continued his good form in 2006 finishing the season in 48th place in the standings. He has failed to add to his two tour victories since 2000. |
