Ryan Moore was born on December 5th, 1981 in Washington, USA. He attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas for four years. He won all the major Amateur titles including the US Amateur, Western Amateur and US Public Links. He finished 13th in the 2005 US Masters as an amateur.

Moore turned pro in 2005 and was given a Special Temporary Exemption onto the PGA Tour. He has seven starts to earn enough money to get him into the top 125 of the money list. He managed to achieve this finishing 2nd in the Canadian Open along the way.
