Frankie Minoza was born on December 29th, 1959 in the Philippines. He turned pro in 1983. He is one of Asia's best known players. Minoza has played most of his golf on the Japanese tour winning a whole host of tournaments. In recent years he has played on the Asian Tour.

Minoza's most prolific season was in 1998 when he collected four tournament victories in three different countries. He has a classic golf swing and has played in the US Masters. In the past two seasons Minoza has finished inside the top 30 of the Asian Tour order of merit.
