Mardan Mamat was born on October 31st, 1967 in Singapore. He turned pro in 1994 and plays his golf on the Asian Tour. Mamat has won two tournaments on the Asian Tour including the 2006 Singapore Masters which was a co-sanctioned event with the European Tour.
Mamat lead the event from start to finish and held off defending champion Nick Dougherty in an exciting final round. This victory gave Mamat a two year exemption on the European Tour. It also helped him finish 11th on the Asian Tour order of merit. This was his highest finish so far in his career. |
