Davis Love III was born in North Carolina, USA on 13th April, 1964. He attended the University of North Carolina and played in the Walker Cup in 1985. He turned pro later that year and won his first event on the PGA Tour in 1987. He has been very successful winning 19 events including one major.
Davis Love III quickly became one of the most popular players on tour and won the 1997 US PGA Championship. Between 1992 - 95 he won 4 consecutive World Cups partnering Fred Couples. He has won over $30 million in his career. |
