Soren Kjeldsen was born on May 17th, 1975 in Denmark. He turned pro in 1995 and played on the Challenge Tour in 1997. That year he won the Finland Open and missed just 7 out of 25 cuts. This was enough to earn his place on the European Tour.
In his rookie season Kjeldsen finished in 115th place on the Order of Merit, the last qualifying spot. Since then he has been a very consistent performer. He has one tournament victory, the 2003 Diageo Championship at Gleneagles. That was his best season to date finishing 27th on the Order of Merit. |
