Anthony Kang was born on November 30th, 1972 in Arizona, USA. His dad introduced him to golf to keep him out of trouble.He attended Oregan State University before turning pro in 1996. He has been a consistent performer on the Asian Tour since joining in 1998.
He claimed his first Asian Tour victory in 1999 at the Philippine Open. He won again two years later at the Myamar Open. That year he also played in the US Open and made the cut to play all four rounds. He finished 15th on the Asian Tour order of merit in 2006. |
