Miguel Angel Jimenez was born on January 5th, 1964 in Spain. He was one of seven brothers and was introduced into the game as a caddie in Malaga. He didn't start to play until the age of 15. He first joined the European Tour in 1988 and claimed his first victory four years later.

He is nicknamed 'The Mechanic' and has a unique look with his pony tail. He is often seen smoking cigars on the golf course. He collected two wins in 98 and 99. His best season was in 2004 when he collected more wins than any other golfer.
