Lee Janzen was born on August 28th, 1964 in Minnesota, USA. He started playing golf at the age of 12 and turned pro in 1986. He has won the US Open twice in 1993 and 1998 beating the late Payne Stewart on both occasions. He has won six other titles on the PGA Tour.

Lee Janzen appears to play his best golf on tough courses. He reached his peak in the mid 90's winning all his events between 92 - 98. His second US Open victory was special as he started the final round five shots off the lead. In recent years Janzen has failed to produce the golf he showed in the 1990's.
