Peter Hedblom was born on January 20th, 1970, in Gavle, Sweden. He started playing at the age of 6 and 10 years later he was the Swedish Boys Champion. He turned pro in 1988 and has been a regular on the European Tour. He has three tournament victory on the main tour and three on the Challenge Tour.

His victory came at the 2001 Moroccan Open. However a broken leg the following year haltered his progress. He returned in 2003 and came close to winning again twice losing in a playoff. . In 2007 he won his second tour title in Malaysia. A final round 68 was good enough for a one shot victory.
