Peter Hanson was born on October 4th, 1977 in Sweden. He turned Pro in 1998 after a very successful amateur career including winning the Brabazon Trophy. He spent his early years as a professional on the Challenge Tour winning one tournament, the 2001 Hamburg Classic.
His made his first real impact on the European Tour at the end of 2004. At the season ending event, the Volvo Masters he finished in a credible 4th place to earn his biggest check. Then early the following season he landed his first win the Open de Espana beating Peter Gustafsson in a playoff. |
