Matthew Goggin was born on June 13th, 1974 in Tasmania, Australia. He won the Australian and Canadian Amateur Championship in 1995 before turning pro. He spent two years on the Challenge Tour in Europe winning twice. He repeated this feat on the Nationwide Tour in 1999.
Goggin has been on and off the PGA Tour and had to return to the second tier tour in 2004 and 2005. He has his best Nationwide Tour season in 2005 when he finished 9th on the money list. He became more consistent in 2006 and finished T2 in the Cialis Western Open. |
