Stephen Gangluff was born on September 6th, 1975 in Ohio, USA. He turned pro in 1996 and has spent the last two seasons on the Canadian Tour. Gangluff had an excellent season in 2006 on the Canadian Tour. He was voted player of the year after winning two tournaments and the Order of Merit.

His victories came at the TELUS Edmonton Open and Fallsview Casino Resort Pro Am Classic. Gangluff also qualified for the US Open and finished the event T40. He was one of only six players to shoot par or better on the final day on the very tough Winged Foot golf course.
