Marcus Fraser was born on July 26th, 1978 in New South Wales, Australia. He turned pro in 2002 and joined the Challenge Tour the following season. Fraser then produced a remarkable spell of golf. He landed his first title at the Danish Open. Several months later he won again in Finland.
Just two weeks after his second victory he won the co-sanctioned event, The Russian Open. This was enough to earn him a place on the European Tour. He had a strong rookie season finishing 51st on the order of merit. 2006 was another solid year which included a T3 finish at the Open de France. |
