Niclas Fasth was born on April 29th, 1972 in Gothenburg, Sweden. He turned pro in 1993 and won three tournament on the Challenge Tour. In 1998 he tried his luck on the PGA Tour and ended up losing his place on both circuits and returning to the Challenge Tour.
He made his break through in 2000 winning the Madeira Island Open. The following season he finished runner up in the Open Championship and 10th on the Order of Merit. He has added five more titles to his CV including two in 2006. His most recent win came at the BMW International Open. |
