Martin Erlandsson was born on February 12th, 1974 in Malmo, Sweden. He represented his country as an amateur before turning pro in 1997. It wasn't until 2003 that Erlandsson started to make an impact. He won an event on the Challenge Tour and finished 6th on the rankings.
This was enough to win him a place on the European Tour. In 2004 in his rookie season he finished just three places away from retaining his card. However after a successful trip to Q-School he was back in 2005. A T2 at the Celtic Manor Wales Open helped him finish 67th on the money list. |
