Chris Di Marco was born on the 23rd August, 1968 in New York, USA. He attended the University of Florida and turned pro in 1990. He started his career on the Canadian Tour winning the order of merit in 1992. He earnt his PGA Tour card the next season by finishing 9th on the Nike Tour.
He struggled in his early years on tour losing his card several times. It wasn't until 2000 that he claimed his first tour title. He has gone on to win 4 times and has performed well in recent major tournaments including 3 runner up finishes. He also sank the winning putt in the 2005 Presidents Cup. |
