Bubba Dickerson was born on May 6th, 1981 in Florida, USA. He was an excellent amateur player and won the US Amateur in 2001. He attended the University of Florida wining many golf honours. After playing in the 2002 US Masters, Dickerson turned pro.

Since turning pro Dickerson has played on the Challenge Tour, Hooters Tour, Nationwide Tour and the PGA Tour in 2006. As a rookie on the PGA Tour Dickerson notched up three top ten finishes but was unable to secure his full playing rights for the next season finishing 127th on the money list.
