Ben Crane was born on March 6th, 1976 in Oregan, USA. He began playing the game of golf at the age of five and was taught by his grandfather. He attended the University of Oregan before turning pro in 1999. He spent two years on the Nationwide Tour, 2000 and 2001, winning an event both times.
He spent his first season on the PGA Tour in 2002 and won his first tournament a year later. Crane is regarded as one of the slowest players on the Tour. Bizarrely, he never looks at who he is playing with the next day and does not find out until stepping on the first tee. |
