Andrew Coltart was born on May 12th, 1970 in Dumfries, Scotland. In 1987 he won the Scottish Boys Championship. He then won the 1991 Scottish Amateur Stroke Play Championship. That year he played in the Walker Cup and turned professional.
He has been a member of the European Tour since 1993 and has won two tournaments. He has had success down under winning the Australian PGA Championship in 1994 and 1997. He also topped the order of merit in 1997/98. He was a member of the Ryder Cup team in 1999 but only played the singles. |
