Tim Clark was born in Durban, South Africa on the 17th December, 1975. He attended North Carolina State University where he had a successful college golf career. He then turned pro in 1998 and in 2000 won twice on the Nike Tour to earn his PGA Tour card. In 2001 he suffered a serious wrist injury.
The tour granted him a medical exemption in 2002 where he managed to regain his card. He has yet to win on the PGA Tour but has three European Tour titles and has played well in recent majors (2nd at the 2006 US Masters). His career came under threat in 2006 when he suffered a serious neck injury. |
