Stewart Cink was born on May 21st, 1973 in New York, USA. His parents were both single figured handicappers and introduced him to the game. He attended Georgia Tech and later turned pro in 1993. He won three tournaments on the Nike Tour in 1996 to earn his PGA Tour card.
In his rookie season, Cink won the Canon Greater Hartford Open. Since then he has twice lifted the MCI Heritage trophy and won the WGC - NEC Invitational in 2004. This win elevated him into the top 10 of the world rankings. He has not won an event since then however. |
