Greg Chalmers was born on October 11th, 1973 in Sydney, Australia. In 1993 he was the Australian Amateur Champion. He turned pro in 1995 and won four tournaments in three years in Australia. His biggest win was the 1998 Australian Open.
That year he also finished 25th on the European Tour order of merit and earnt his place on the PGA Tour via the qualifying school. He has failed to win an event in America and lost his card in 2004 and 2006. Chalmers came close to a win finishing T2 at the 2007 Mastercard Masters. |
