Alex Cejka was born on December 2nd, 1970 in Marienbad, Czech Republic. At the age of nine he moved to Germany as a refugee. Cejka turned pro in 1989 and spent tens years on the European Tour between 1992 and 2002. During this time he won four tournaments.
His best season came in 1995 when he won three times including the Volvo Masters. He finished the year ranked 6th on the order of merit. In 2003 Cejka joined the PGA Tour and his career has gradually declined. In 2006 he finished 146th on the money list but won his card back through the Q-school. |
