Bart Bryant was born on November 18th, 1962 in Texas, USA. Throughout his career he has suffered from a series of injuries. He turned pro in 1986 and has made five successful trips to the Q-school to earn his tour card. In recent years he has won three PGA Tour titles.

He made his break through in 2004 winning the Valero Texas Open on his 187th start, at the age of 41. This made him the oldest first time winner for nine years. In 2005 he earnt more money in one season than his first 18 on tour. He won two tournaments including the Tour Championship.
