Henrik Bjornstad was born on May 7th 1979 in Oslo Norway. He started playing golf at the age of 11 and was the Norweigen Amateur champion in 1996. He turned pro in 1997 and spent five seasons on the European Tour. He highest finish on the order of merit came in 2002, 61st place.
In 2004 he gave up the game for almost a year and worked as a carpenter. However at the end of 2005 he finished T13 at the PGA Tour qualifying school. His rookie season on the PGA Tour got off to a good start when he finished T10 in his first event. However he finished the year 152nd. |
