John Bickerton was born in Droitwich, England on December 23rd, 1969. He was introduced to golf by caddying for his father. As an amateur he was twice hit by lightning but avoided injury. He turned pro in 1991 and won a tournament on the Challenge Tour in 1994.
Bickerton has played on the European Tour since 1995 and had five second place finishes and 287 starts before winning his first tournament in 2005. Since then he has added wins at the 2006 Open de France and the 2008 Alfred Dunhill Championship. |
