Johan Axgren was born on March 5th, 1975 in Gothenburg, Sweden. He turned pro in 1995 and played on the Challenge Tour between 1996 - 98. After very little success Axgren took a break from competitive golf and returned to the Challenge Tour for the 2004 season.
In 2006 he won on the Challenge Tour and finished 2nd on the money list. However he failed to take this form onto the European Tour and finished 170th on the order of merit. This meant Axgren had to return to the Challenge Tour for the 2008 season. |
