Billy Andrade was born on January 25th, 1964 in Rhode Island, USA. He attended Wake Forest University and played in the 1987 Walker Cup. He turned pro in 1987 and made his breakthrough in the 1991 season winning back to back tournaments on the PGA Tour.
He then went seven years without a tour victory before winning the 1998 Canadian Open. He holed a 30 foot putt on the final hole to force a playoff which he won on the 1st extra hole. He then won again in 2000 but has not won since. Had a consistent season in 2006 producing lots of strong finishes. |
