The Monaco Grand Prix is the most prestigious Formula One race of the season. It takes place around the street of Monaco and is a very tight track. The tight corners and hills make it one of the most demanding race tracks in the World. The race was first held way back in 1929.

The Grand Prix de Monaco as it is officially known takes place in May and is raced over 78 laps. The most successful driver to date is Ayrton Senna who won six times in Monaco. The current champion is Lewis Hamilton who won the race despite starting third on the grid.
