The Belgian Grand Prix takes place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps which is regarded by drivers as the most challenging F1 track. It is made difficult by the unpredictable weather conditions. Some parts of the track can be dry whilst at the same time other parts are wet and slippery.
The Belgian Grand Prix first took place in 1925. It is held in September and raced over 44 laps. There was no race in 2006 as the Spa track was under going major repair works. In recent races in Belgian Kimi Raikkonen has come out on top winning the last three Grand Prix's. |
