Maccabi Tel Aviv play in the Premier League in Israel. They were founded in 1906 and play in all yellow home kit and all blue away kit. They play their home games at the Bloomfield Stadium which has a capacity of 18,000. They played in the 2004/05 Champions League group stages.
Maccabi Tel Aviv qualified for the group stages by beating HJK Helsinki and PAOK FC. They had to play their home matches in Cyprus because their ground was not good enough. They beat Ajax 2 - 1 and earnt a 1 - 1 draw with Juventus but lost all their other games |
