Dinamo Kiev play in the the Ukrainian Premier League. They were founded in 1927. They have won the Cup Winners Cup twice. They play their home games at the Lobanovsky Dynamo Stadium which has a capacity of 16,900. They are the most successful team from Ukraine.

Dinamo Kiev have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League on three occasions. Most recently in 1999. They were a formidable force with the likes of Shevchenko and Rebrov banging in goals. In recent seasons they have been unable to progress beyond the group stage of the competition.
