Barcelona play their football in the Spanish La Liga. They were founded in 1899 and twice won the Champions League. They play their home games at the Nou Camp which has a capacity of 98,787. They play in claret and blue vertical striped shirts.

Barcelona last won the Champions League in 2006. After coming close in 2002 and 2003 where they reached the Semi-Finals and Quarter Finals they made their breakthrough under Coach Frank Rijkaard. They won five out of six of their group games.
