Auxerre play in Ligue 1 in France. They were founded in 1905 and play in an all white kit. Auxerre have the nickname AJ. They play their home games at the Stade de l'Abbe Deschamps which has a capacity of 23,943. They reached the Quarter Finals of the UEFA Cup in 2005.
Auxerre have yet to win any of the major European Competitions. They did manage to reach the Quarter Finals of the UEFA Cup in 2004 - 05. They had victories over Ajax and Lille en route. They were eventually beaten by the Champions CSKA Moscow. |
