Austria Vienna play in Bundesliga in Austria. They were founded in 1911. They play in a purple and white kit and are nicknamed 'The Violets'. Austria Vienna play at the Horr Stadium which has a capacity of 11,800. They reached the Quarter Finals of the UEFA Cup in 2005.
Austria Vienna have never won any of the major European Competitions. They manage to qualify on a regular basis and played in the UEFA Cup for the past five seasons. Their best run came in 2004-05 when they progressed all the way to the Quarter Finals where they lost on away goals to Parma. |
