Ajax are based in the city of Amsterdam, Holland. They were founded in 1900 and have won the Champions League four times. They play their home games at the Amsterdam Arena which has a capacity of 65,647. They play in all white with a large vertical red stripe on the shirt.

Ajax are one of the leading three teams from Holland. They actually won the European Cup three years running between 1971 and 1973. Their best performance in recent years came in 2003 when they reached the Quarter finals of the competition before losing to AC Milan.
